DVD Cover and Web Page Project

O.k. Well this is my brother's band DVD cover, I chose his band for my project for photoshop where I had to create a cover as well as a Web Home page. So this is the cover. (And I must say, it looked really good printed and inserted into a box!) The object was to create and used high def photos for print and optomize the images for web. I designed and created everything, since I could not find images that I liked. The band photos I took from their Facebook, tweeked, added a chrome border.

The logo was the big issues...it lacked something musical. The original logo that I was sent (everybody agreed) - looked like a restaurant ad and not a talented musical live band. So we all agreed that the logo needed a musical note. Hence, la clé de sol, was introduced and I think it works.

Now for the Web Home page, that was a challenge to capture photos from their site and reformat and optimized with good clarity... but success. They all look great. The ideas for the home page is to introduce the band; so by scrolling around with your mouse over the pics you can click and view their bios or you can just use the navigation bar to click and choose what you want: To Meet the Band or their playlist and of course how to contact them to book your next dance party...Because they are hot! HOwever, this is just a mock up and it is not up and running yet...SOON! Wait for it!

So far I have not heard from my brother...hope he likes it! This of course is just a sample!

Sound Editing- Pro Tools!

This was a sound project where we had to strip - erase the original audio and sound tracks and replace them with our own. A few friends helped out with voice and I created the music bed and sound FX with what else! Sound Pro and Garage Band!!! Got to love it! and well I think it turned out great! Thanks to all my vo actors!!! Take a look or I should say LISTEN closely! You can check the original on Apple Movie Trailers - the trailer is called Despicable Me! Not out yet and of course it is a new animated feature!

Next big projects are DVD Cover, I am doing one for my brother's band. A Flash Animation, now that is going to be a challenge and lots of time to create. Fun though!

Hi, o.k. one more assignment done ! YEAH! Oh but an exam tomorrow. This last project was an Illustration project...tough... lots of drawing with the PEN TOOl, my new best friend!

Hello everyone,

anyone out there who is thinking about MMI (Multimedia Intensive) Studies...well I am telling you now...boy oh boy it is a lot of work! Enjoying it though, however, huge amount of time on the computer...so I am not keeping up my blog as much I would like. Anyways, here is another project that was due today. We had to create three web pages for our clients. It is just a mock up but lots of fun to do especially when I implement into Dreamweaver...just love it!
